The 2026-2027 CTWC season kicks off internationally all the way out in Singapore, as our friends out in the Asian Pacific battle it out for classic Tetris supremacy!
PRE QUALS
We will be opening CTSC to pre-quals. You must have signed up through the link. Pre-quals attempts shall be 1 hour, with the last game starting within the time limit, but can end after time runs out.
- Pre-quals must be live streamed on Twitch, with VOD turned on.
- You must announce your pre qual attempt in ctsc-2026-chat with your Twitch stream.
- There must be a countdown timer visible on your stream.
- Cam is mandatory, with face and hands visible in frame.
- Before starting the countdown, you MUST HARD RESET YOUR EMU/CONSOLE. Your high scores MUST all read as default.
- Set your Tetris Gym cart to qual mode, enable 7 digits, and cap at 39 lines (super killscreen). If not on Tetris Gym, stop playing at Level 39.
- After completing your attempt, post the URL to your VOD on #ctsc-2026-chat, with your highest score, and the next highest score.
- Emulators are allowed. Turbo buttons are not allowed.
ON THE ACTUAL DAY (21 JUN)
We will continue to allow quals on the day, but we will start off with the pre-quals list of high scores. On 21 June 2026, we will be sharing space with a small retro gaming convention (Thank you to room2F [ @Edgar ]!!). The retro gaming convention is opened to public, including yourselves. The public may also choose to queue up at the Tetris stations and submit a qualifying score and, should they choose to stay, be eligible to play in the brackets stage. After qualifying stage ends, we will seed everyone according to their submitted scores. If a score is not submitted or recorded, it will not count – please make sure you get someone to record your score.
ON PRIZES
The main prize pool will be from Matcherino and audience donation. Razer has provided swag for the top 3 places:
