CTWC RETURNS TO THE TAR HEEL STATE!

CTWC North Carolina is back for more exciting Tetris action!

This year will feature a Gold and Silver bracket (as long as we get enough players).
As well as that, we will also have a BEACH PARTY at Wrightsville beach. We look forward to seeing you there!

TOURNAMENT DETAILS

PLAYERS MUST QUALIFY ONLINE IF POSSIBLE PROCESS

• A player may start their qualifying session at any time during the qualification period
• They must stream, live on Twitch, the entire qualifying session and verification process, in addition to any play time before and/or after the qualifying session
• They must announce their qualifier in ⁠a specific channel in the CTWC North Carolina Discord BEFORE they start their qualifying session but AFTER they go live on Twitch

* The Classic Tetris Bot can be added to Twitch chat by typing !summon in the Twitch chat of someone who has the bot in their chat

• After announcing their qualifier, they must reset the in game scoreboard after announcing their qualifying session, run !authword in Twitch chat, play a game that allows them to enter the authword in the scoreboard, then enter the authword in the scoreboard
• After entering the authword, they must start a one hour timer that remains visible on the stream for the duration of the qualifying session and may not be paused for any reason
• After the timer expires, they must submit the VOD and their top two scores to the qualification form linked below

OTHER RULES
*Level 39 DKS line-cap must be implemented.

• The qualifying session must be performed using tournament legal hardware

* Allowed cartridges- Tetris Gym, unmodified original, original with score uncap via Game Genie or Everdrive
* Allowed controllers- An original NES controller, dogbone controller, Goofy Foot, Hyperkin Cadet, Classiq N, Padless
* Specifically disallowed controllers- Keyboard, any controller with turbo functions, any controller with big buttons

• VOD saving with chat replay must be enabled, and the VOD must be publicly available for at least a weak following the stream
• The scoreboard must not be reset throughout the duration of the qualifying session
• If Tetris Gym is used for qualifying, qual mode must be enabled
• If possible, a webcam with the face and hands in view is highly recommended
