Soon-to-be MIT graduate Fractal made his name known as a hypertapper, but his true dominance has been showcased with rolling. Claiming several world records as rolling was emerging as the dominant playstyle, Fractal would lose the finals of CTWC 2022 3-1, being the heavy favorite going into the tournament. After this loss, Fractal seemed to give up on Tetris, fading away from the community in 2023. However he wasn’t done with the game quite yet. Fractal would go on to win CTWC 2023 in one of the most surprising and dominant showings in tournament history, reverse-sweeping Sidnev in the finals, with the 2 games dropped there being his only 2 losses in the entire tournament.
